Lamplight Studios Classroom Space

Want to host a class or arts-centered event at Lamplight Studios?

While our larger event space is in development, we want to make our temporary classroom space accessible to the community for teaching classes and hosting arts-centered gatherings. We are renting out the space hourly, and working to keep costs accessible for our community while also earning enough to help cover our costs for the space. We are currently in a trial period through the summer, and we would love to hear about your class and event ideas!

• The space is 380 Square feet

• We have many chairs as you could need, 2 8 foot tables, and 2 large couches, and a utility sink.

• We welcome and encourage folks to charge for their classes. We hope this will offset the rental cost, and that you can earn income beyond your fee for the space.

• We ask for half payment up front/half after your event.

During our Trial period, we are charging a sliding-scale hourly rate for use of the space:

$35/hour
This is our break even rate. This will help cover Lamplight’s rent in our classroom space. If this is the max you can afford, select this amount!

$45/hour
This not only covers our break even price for the space, but also helps cover our ability to continue to nurture our ongoing programming for artists in Asheville, as well as for the development of our upcoming event space

$55/hour
This not only covers our break even price for the space, but also helps cover our ability to continue to nurture our ongoing programming for artists in Asheville, as well as for the development of our upcoming event space

We welcome community feedback as we work to figure out the best way to offer this space to our community, while also earning income to help meet our needs as a small non profit.
