We’re so grateful for your continued support: whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign, you help move this vision forward!

Our current artist in residence, Keagan Wheat, will work on a full-length poetry collection and engage the community in writing poetry and crafting chaplets. Aliah Lavonne Jahan-Tigh and he will host a creative writing workshop and bookmaking workshop for the Asheville community.

During her time at the residency, Zoie will be working on oil paintings with corresponding projections, hand dyed soft sculpture, painted lamp pendants, as well as interactive sound installation.
Zoie will bookend her residency with an opening and closing event featuring music live music in an immersive environment

Lamplight AVL hosts residency programs that provide artists of all genres with space, time, and resources, so they can create innovative work to share with our community.

DOSed is donating their entire back catalog of tapes to support Lamplight AVL + all future DOSed sales will directly benefit our programs. This means every purchase from DOSed helps us provide time, space, and support for artists creating powerful new work here in Asheville.

“We Love It Here” is a collection of songs by friends of Drop of Sun Studios, with all proceeds will going directly to our Recover, Remain, and Thrive Program, which was created in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

Since the day after Hurricane Helene, Lamplight has been working to support artists in our region impacted by the storm.
