Join current artist-in-residence Reba Fraser for a clothing dyeing workshop!
Need a little wardrobe jeuje? Maybe a top you’ve had for years that you never wear but can’t let go of? Welcome to the magical world of colorful dye makeover. Reba will show you all the methods she uses to re-work clothing using Procion dye and bleach. She’ll even give a quick sewing tutorial if needed for a major up-cycle.
Guidelines:
• Only Natural materials like cotton, linen, or silk
• Small articles of clothing only. Please no jackets, dresses (unless small like a slip), or pants
• Not sure what to bring or what the material is? To be on the safe side, grab a bunch of pieces that we can discuss options and only re-work 2-3.
• Clothes must be clean
• All ages!
This class is free but Reba asks that you donate to a local organization of your choice in exchange- Reach out if you need suggestions!
