Lamplight AVL hosts residency programs that provide artists of all genres with space, time, and resources, so they can create innovative work to share with our community.
Our work would not be possible without the support of our donors. Supporting Lamplight with a one-time or recurring donation means we can continue supporting and providing space for artists in Asheville.
Since the day after Hurricane Helene, Lamplight has been working to support artists in our region impacted by the storm.
We welcome artists in all disciplines. We are particularly interested in art that is experimental, inter-disciplinary, and unconventional. We are currently accepting applications for our 2026 programming, and we will make final selections for our 2026 calendar year in August.
The {Re}HAPPENING is an annual, day-long immersive arts event at the historic campus of Black Mountain College. Lamplight AVL will be will taking over the North Lodge on campus, and will be bringing a group of artists for performances and installations throughout the day of the event.
